Individuals with disabilities who have been unemployed for an extended period of time and are having difficulties finding work (for example, workers with disabilities with only marginal work experience) can benefit from on-the-job work experience made possible through the Wage Subsidy program.

Lunenburg/Queens Action Council for People with Disabilities can offer wage subsidy programs to employers as an incentive to hire individuals with disabilities who will benefit by learning new skills and gaining valuable work experience.
